With the schools celebrating Vaayanadinam (Reading Day) on June 19 to commemorate the birth anniversary of P.N Panicker, pioneer of Kerala's Library Movement, Progressive English School is organizing a reading week with several slew of programmes aimed at promoting reading habit among students. Book review and book introduction sessions by students, reading hours and interactions with writers, lecturing and quiz competitions were organized .
