Keeping in mind the present
scenario, where adolescents and their parents face problems in tackling each
other, an awareness class for parents entitled “Kaumaram,Kadamatyum Karuthalum”
was held in the school auditorium on 12th December 2015. The class
was handled by Dr. L.R Madhujan, clinical psychologist ,Karuna sai Trivandrum
The discussion was excellent in
the way it portrayed and brought together the perspectives children have at
different stages in their lives. It was carried out on a very light yet healthy
and motivational way. It was so
captivating that the parents were fastened to their seats, spell bound and
enjoying every bit of it. Dr. Madhujan said that the child looks upon their
parent and follows them. If we give the best of love and care to the child in
the formative years, he will return back to the world in manifolds. Parents are
the children’s icon, they are everything and so they need to be really careful
in what they are doing. worthwhile
guidelines and tips for parents were given. Parents experienced a great deal of
satisfaction and pleasure from the information. Most parents felt that there
was a real need for these kind of workshops. The queries were answered in a
very convincing manner. It was indeed an enlightening session. When it was all
over everyone appreciated……It was worth it!
